受賞したのは本校ゲームデザイナー専攻3年生の谷口純一さんが制作した「Ｍｉｎｏｔａｕｒ」。最終ノミネートされた5作品に入選しました。既に社会人として働いている方や大学生の方の入選がほとんどでしたが、谷口さんの健闘が光り入選しました。
谷口さんは、Zbrush（スカルプトソフトウエア）を独学で学修し、今回の受賞作品を完成させました。ゲームCGデザイナーを目指すために日々、最新の動向を研究し、努力を惜しまずスキルアップしていることが評価されたのだと思います。

授賞式は11月26日（土）に秋葉原のアーツ千代田3331で開催されました。同世代の参加者が多く、交流会では多くの刺激を受けてきたという谷口さん。新たな創作とスキルアップへ向けて大きな励みとなったようです。
