OICでは今年も内定者が続々出ていますが、内定した学生にその秘訣をインタビューしてまいりました。
まずは、人気のゲーム会社、株式会社サイバーコネクトツーに内定した谷口純一さん。OICではゲーム部のまとめ役やオープンキャンパスのスタッフで活躍している人気者です。

評価されたことは？
作品では、ZBrushを 使ったスカルプトモデリングが高く評価されました。また、インターンシップを通じて、仕事のスピードの速さも評価されました。しかし、最も評価された点 は、“精神面・コミュニケーション力"だと思います。それが自分の武器だと思っていますし、実際に社長にも「勉強意欲が高い」「怒られてもへこたれない」 「追い込まれても最後にはなんとかする」「とにかく明るい」と言って頂きました。

どんな学生生活を過ごしました？
僕自身、OICに入るまではパソコンをほとんど使ったことが無かったで すし、しっかりとコミュニケーションが取れる方でもありませんでした。ですが、絵なんか紙とペンさえあればどこでも描けるので、どんどん描いていきました し、本当にやりたければ絶対に出来る！という気持ちを強く持って頑張りました。人並みのことをしていても意味が無い、人以上のことをしないといけない業界 ですから。
コミュニケーション力に関しては、たくさんの学生・先生と交流出来るOICの環境や、オープンキャンパススタッフなどを通じて磨くことが出来ました。今では、“OICで一番友達が多い"と自負出来るくらい居ます笑。
